What’s your story?
We are a B Corp, based in Patagonia committed to making long-lasting eyewear that can serve as a symbol of a different way of looking at the world and made under a very different logic; instead of the widely used linear and extractive process, we are working hard to build our entire value chain under a circular, restorative and regenerative model.”
Karün has flipped traditional economics on its head. Instead of exploiting resources, they are building a circular and regenerative model. It links the economy with conservation. It empowers local communities and has inspired genuine innovation by asking new questions.
The products? Consciously developed in Patagonia; Inspired by nature and made to withstand it. Combining top-quality components like stainless-steel hinges, polarized lenses and UV protection, while at the same time working with recycled materials like fishing nets, metals and other types of nylon. Every step is consciously thought of, even the recycled leather case and its packaging made with recycled cardboard. Karün sunglasses are both sustainable and beautiful.
And… if that is not enough, for every Karün purchase you are helping to protect 400.000 hectares of pristine nature in Patagonia through a 4-year program with over 600 rural entrepreneurs and their families.
The brand offers a full portfolio, from urban models to outdoor and sports options with the perfect balance between performance and sustainability. You can also find collaboration collections like The Sailing Collection, co-developed and worn by Volvo Ocean Race sailors, is sporty, durable and performance-led and the NatGeo by Karün collection that offers versatile options for every taste.
