What’s your “why”?

Tact & Stone launched as a counterpoint to the traditional fashion industry to prove that high-quality, great fitting fashion can be made in a truly sustainable way. We have three pillars that we stand on: Quality and Comfort, Style and Fit, Environmental and Social Sustainability.

We are meticulous in our sourcing of materials and in our manufacturing to make sure we deliver the highest-quality, lowest-impact menswear on the planet. Our goal is to enable self-expression through style while having a positive impact on the world we live in.

 

Who’s your customer?

We launched with a full line of closet staples to allow our customers to build a sustainable wardrobe from head to toe. Our customers are conscious urban dwellers who want to look good, feel good, and do good.

Our customer is a thought leader. They are aware, curious, passionate and inclusive. They love to be on the leading edge and to be a part of something bigger than themselves.

 

Why does sustainability matter?

If we don’t change the traditional practices of the industry and prove that this is a business model for success we will be in a dire place in the next 20-30 years. We believe this should be thought about in every industry and action should be demanded by the customer; to ensure we leave our kids with a prosperous planet.

 

Do you contribute to your local community?

Yes! We are currently active in our local community; participating in recycling programs, beach cleanups, and anything we can be a part of.

 

Advice to other entrepreneurs starting out?

If you’re passionate, have an idea, and believe you can make change in this world; go for it! Be meticulous about testing and iterating your product/belief/service in order to provide true value to your customer.
